In 2016, Parker Poe established its office in Atlanta, Georgia, the firm’s seventh location. The firm offers a variety of legal services in this office, including in the areas of education, commercial real estate, sports and entertainment, corporate counsel and litigation, economic development, eminent domain and condemnation, financial services, intellectual property, and labor and employment.

As a top business city and a primary transportation hub of the Southeastern U.S., the Atlanta area is home to the headquarters of global corporations such as Coca-Cola, Home Depot, UPS, Delta Air Lines, Turner Broadcasting, and Mercedes-Benz USA. The area boasts a diverse culture and economy, which have helped attract roughly 6 million people, according to census data.

Atlanta's cultural offerings include the High Museum of Art, the bohemian shops of Little Five Points, and diverse dining options found along Buford Highway. In addition, Atlanta is home to a variety of history museums and attractions, including the Atlanta History Center and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. Students and families from all over the world are drawn to the nearly 60 post-secondary educational institutions in the Atlanta region, including Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and Savannah College of Art & Design, as well as some of the country's leading historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) such as Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University.

The city also has a world-class international airport, large parks and green spaces, and major professional sports teams. The city has hosted the Olympics, the Super Bowl, the NCAA Men's Final Four, a variety of All-Star games, and more.
